The Holidays, The Whitehalls, and a worthy cause!

If there is one thing that The Whitehalls know – it’s that the Holidays are a great time for celebrating with family and friends!
But alas, in a moment of eggnog induced act of selflessness, we’ve decided that the Holidays are also a great time for helping out others.
With that in mind The Whitehalls are proud to announce that “Hurricanes”, a track from our soon to be released CD (coming in early 2011!), has been included in a very special compilation called “Still Standing”.
“Still Standing”, brings together the talents of several San Francisco-Bay Area artists to benefit the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS) who are focused on rebuilding after a devastating fire on May 20, 2010 that destroyed their shelter.
Many animals were rescued, but many were not so lucky, and this accident has left them ‘in dire’ financial need.
Proceeds from “Still Standing” will go toward helping BEBHS to rebuild so they can continue to live up to their mission of ensuring “no healthy or treatable shelter animals will be euthanized in the Society’s care”.
The Whitehalls have partnered with music technology startup MusixShare to offer this digital Cause Compilation for the benefit of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society.
