Video from our friends Karmacoda
Jul 11, 2010 Recording, Shows, Video
It’s been awhile since our last post, but wanted to let everyone know we’re working hard on the next release from The Whitehalls -- due out this fall!
We’re in the final stages of mixing and we can truly say this is our most ambitious & exciting release to date.
In between studio sessions we also managed to skip out to another great show by Karmacoda, our producer B’s amazing band, last Friday at Harlot in San Francisco.

Also check out this awesome video for Skylines from Karmacoda:
Directed by Luis Otavio Feldens, Produced by John Vasicek
Skylines is the second single and video from the Karmacoda album Illuminate. The video, directed by San Francisco-based director and animator Luis Otavio Feldens features a stunning combination of digital still photography and high definition, full-motion video.
It’s incredible…enjoy!

Dec 31, 2009 Know the Band, Shows
Earlier this month The Whitehalls were asked to participate in a benefit at GAMH doing a little to give back to Music and Music Education.
I’m pleased to report that the Silicon Valley Rocks Benefit raised more than $27,000 for Music In Schools Today!
We had a great time playing this show and it’s fantastic to see that the effort of all the bands, sponsors, and people involved in pulling this off had a nice result.

3 damn fine reasons to see The Whitehalls play in SF Dec 9th!
Nov 21, 2009 Shows
Hi friends and fans!
The Whitehalls will be playing the Silicon Valley Rocks! benefit on Wednesday, December 9 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
And there are 3 damn fine reasons we should see you there:
1) It’s for a good cause!
Silicon Valley Rocks! 2009 brings together the Valley’s tech community to raise money for Music in Schools Today (MuST), a Bay Area non-profit that seeks to rescue music programs from budget cuts.
2) Hear new songs from our recently recorded 2nd CD…
The Whitehalls have been busy in the recording studio and will play almost entirely new material for this show!
3) We will make it worth your while!
Save $5 off tickets at all pricing levels by clicking here
PLUS A SPECIAL OFFER!
The first 20 people who email us at pjc@thewhitehalls.com to say they’ve bought their ticket will get their choice of either:
* a collectors item Heathrow CD (all future pressing will be as The Whitehalls), OR
* a Heathrow t-shirt!
We will have them for you at the show!
This will be our only show for the rest of 2009 – come help us “save music” and start that holiday spirit of giving early.
It’s not often that getting drunk and listening to loud music is considered a good deed! Did you know your ticket purchases are tax deductible?
See you there!

The Whitehalls are pleased to announce we’ve been selected to join the line up for a very cool benefit show – Silicon Valley Rocks!
Silicon Valley Rocks! 2009, taking place on Dec. 9, will bring together the Valley’s tech community – from VCs and entrepreneurs to bloggers and software developers – to raise money for Music in Schools Today (MuST), a Bay Area non-profit that seeks to rescue music programs from budget cuts.
The showcase will once again feature Silicon Valley bands and original rockers!
Ticket sales are open now at http://svrocks09.eventbrite.com
The show will be held at the famous Great American Music Hall, home to indie music gigs and hall of famers such the Grateful Dead, Duke Ellington, Modest Mouse, and Van Morrison.

MARROW — electronica/dance beats guaranteed to make you move your gloomy ass. Tech Affiliations: Pyramind Studios and the “sflogicninja” of YouTube fame.
